How to Setup Your Fund Settings for Next Fiscal Year (Mobile Application)

This article is for SSAH (Special Services At Home) Users who want to set up their fund settings for the Next Fiscal Year via the MDP mobile application. The information requested in the Fund Settings section can be found on the SSAH approval letter provided to you by your Ministry Regional Office.

Please note, that if you have SSAH Funding and use MyDirectPlan, you are expected to set up your Fund Settings at the beginning of each new fiscal year. Your funding will not appear automatically.

To Setup your fund settings, follow the below steps:

  1. Once you have logged on to the MyDirectPlan mobile application, tap on the three blue lines (burger menu) in the upper left corner as highlighted below:
  2. A side menu will open from the left-hand side, displaying a menu of options. Please tap on the “Account Settings” button.
  3. Inside your Account Settings, you will be required to select the “Fund Settings” tab as shown below:
  4. Your Fund Settings will display the types of funding available to you. Select “SSAH”.
  5. From the SSAH Funding, select the Next Fiscal Year tab, as shown in the image below:
  6. Enter your SSAH authorization number in the Child Recipient Authorization # field.
  7. Select your Ministry Regional Office from the drop-down menu.
  8. Select your Funding Start Date and End Date.
  9. For the Total Budget, enter the annual funding amount that has been approved for the Child Recipient. If you are unsure of your balance, please contact your Ministry Regional Office.
  10. Once you have entered and verified all the required fields, tap on the Save button.
  11. Your Fund settings will be saved for the Next Fiscal Year.
