Getting Started with the Dashboard

The MyDirectPlan application has enhanced its Dashboard view to streamline the user experience. Below is a quick guide to get started with the Dashboard:

  • The Dashboard enables you to view your account verification status via the “Verification Status” button.

    •  The information displayed below this button is based on the following scenarios:
      • If your account setup is incomplete and requires your attention, the application will alert you by displaying an orange warning symbol.
      • When your account setup is complete, the application will indicate this by displaying a green checkmark.

  • By clicking on this Verification Status button, you will be presented with the Verification Status wizard. This wizard will provide you with all the necessary information about your account and also allow you to complete your account setup if it is not yet finished.
  • From the Dashboard, you can access the contact information of your Passport Agency. This information is personalized for the selected Recipient if you are logged in as a Person Managing Funds.
  • The Dashboard allows you to submit your expenses by clicking on the “Submit Expense” button without having to navigate to the "Add/Submit Expenses" section from the left-hand side menu.
  • The Dashboard also allows you to switch between the Previous, Current, and Next fiscal Year to gain insights accordingly.
  • You can get an overview of your Total funding, Available funding, and Used funding with the help of the doughnut chart. By clicking on the orange section of the doughnut, you will be redirected to the "Add/Submit Expenses" section, where you can conveniently view all the expenses for which you have utilized your Passport funding.
  • The Dashboard also displays bar charts showing the Expense Category Limits related to your funding type. For Passport Funding, we have cap limits on the below expense types:
    • CPS Supplies and Equipment: $2,000
    • Person-Directed Planning: $2,500
    • Technology: $3,000
  • You can also get insights related to your Approved Totals by Month, allowing you to make any necessary comparisons.
  • You can get an overview related to your Account Management, Expenses, and Invoices and can manage them by clicking on the “Go to Account Settings”, “Go to Expenses”, and “Go to Invoices” buttons respectively.
  • The Dashboard also enables the user to click on any row within the Account Management, Expenses, and Invoices cards/sections, which will then take the user to filtered views based on their selection. For instance, if the user clicks on the "Action Required" status from the Invoices card, the application will navigate the user to the "Submitted Invoices" section and filter the list of invoices to display only those that require action. This makes it easier for the user to manage their invoices.
